Who We Are

Nestled in the rolling hills near Corning in Perry County, Ohio, Briar Bush Farm is a family-owned and operated farm dedicated to producing high-quality, sustainably raised meats. Owned and managed by Bryan and Ann Hinkle, our farm is a true labor of love.

At Briar Bush Farm, we focus on raising Woodland Pork and Pasture Chicken in a way that respects the land, the animals, and our community. Our pigs roam the woodlands, where they forage naturally, while our chickens enjoy spacious pastures, ensuring they lead happy, healthy lives. We are committed to producing meat that is not only delicious but also nurtured in an environment that promotes animal welfare and environmental sustainability.

  • Denny Farmers Market

    This market runs from June through October on the 1st and 2nd Saturday each month. The market is lopen from 9am to Noon and is located on the Denny Bison Farm (7105 Portie Flamingo Rd, New Lexington, OH 43764).

  • Shawnee Farmers Market

    This market is open on the first Friday of each month from 5pm to 7pm. It is located at the corner of St. Rt. 155 and St. Rt. 93 in Shawnee, Ohio.

  • Woodland Ridge Farm & Learning Center

    Located in Athens County, Woodland Ridge has been a huge support for us. They offer on farm processing for chickens, lambs, pigs, and more. Woodland Ridge is working hard to create a food hub in Southeastern Ohio where families have access to high-quality nutrient dense foods.

    Our friends at Scenic Ridge Farm have provided us with some amazing pastures for our chickens.
